DR. OMKAR P. HERLEKAR
Chairman and Managing Director

Dr. Omkar P. Herlekar is the Chairman and Managing Director of Lasa Supergenerics Limited. Upon assuming the leadership of Lasa, Dr. Herlekar charted a multi-pronged approach for its corporate growth. Envisioning a global presence for the group, Dr. Herlekar played a pivotal role in establishing marketing set-up across and outside India. Lasa places immense focus on research. Dr. Herlekar has played a pivotal role in embryonic the group’s ‘Catalyst Chemistry’ division that focuses on development of veterinary APIs and breakthrough innovations. His contributions are widely acclaimed in the industry circles. Under his leadership, Lasa achieved new milestones and offered several innovations with the help of ‘backward integration’. Herlekar’s visionary and astute entrepreneurial leadership resulted in Lasa emerging as one of the leading animal healthcare conglomerates in India, driven by research, and strategic thinking on a global scale. His clear vision, steady guidance and boundless passion for organic chemistry serve as catalysts for the steady and continued expansion of the group. He also holds number of ‘process patents’ to his credit. Dr. Herlekar spearheads business development, expansion initiatives, financial management, investment and regulatory affairs. He has a team of experienced technocrats who are dedicated towards scaling the group to greater heights through innovation and excellence, thereby creating value for its stakeholders.

MR. HARSH TOLANI
Independent Director

Mr. Hardesh Tolani is an independent director of the company. He is a Chartered accountant by profession associated with leading financial institution. His area of expertise includes company’s audit, financial reporting and taxation subject fields. He has wide exposure in Toll contracts bidding, financial modelling, Operations of Tolls booth, working of food processing units, banking domain knowledge.

MS. EKTA GURNASINGHANI
Independent Director

Ms. Ekta Gurnasinghani is an Independent and Women Director of the Company. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds Master’s Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. She is having overall experience of 4 years in the field of financial reporting and consultancy.

MS. MANALI BHAGTANI
Independent Director

Ms. Manali Bhagtani is an Independent and Women Director of the Company. She is a Practicing Chartered accountant and is in the profession for more than 3 years. She is the Proprietor of CA firm based at Mumbai in the name of M R Bhagtani & Co Chartered Accountants. Her area of expertise includes direct, indirect & international taxation; financial reporting, financial planning, audits, etc. She has rich exposure in Taxation and Valuation matters.

MR. AJAY SUKHWANI
Independent Director

Mr. Ajay H. Sukhwani, is an Independent Director of Company. He holds Bachelors of Commerce degree from University of Mumbai. He is Proprietor of Tax consultancy firm based at Mumbai in the name of AJ Consultancy providing various services in Taxation, Insurance, Statutory registration fields. He has around 10 Years of rich Experience in Accounts, Direct Tax and Indirect Taxes, his expertise is in obtaining various statutory registrations in timely manner and appearing for Assessments, Scrutiny’s and Appeals on client’s behalf.

Mr. Umesh Pawar

Executive Director

Mr. Umesh Pawar is an Executive Director of the Company. He is graduate in Arts from the University of Mumbai. He is having rich experience of more than decade in the Human Resource & Administration department; he is associated with Lasa Supergenerics limited since last few years. Earlier his association was with one of the leading Investment & Finance organizations in Administration & Human Resources department.
